Quick recap . . . . in the summer of 2025 the Industry Group Telecom - Fiber Optics absolutely rocketed up the rankings from near 100ish to the #1 spot. This ultimately led us to very appealing entries on these two stocks. We like to use the groups for many reasons. One way to use the groups is using them to find new opportunities. Winning stocks tend to move in groups. Stocks move in groups in a general sense in both directions, but big winners can really gather a lot of steam moving as a group. Here’s the group right now:

VIAV

VIAV Weekly

OPTX

OPTX Weekly

Thoughts and observations:
Holding both . . . . not opposed to adding to either . . . . would more likely add to OPTX on substantial downside VOL . . . .
VIAV . . . . . solid performer . . . Industry Group has been standing strong the entire time . . . . 98 Composite Rating that ain’t bad at all . . . . stock keeps showing good respect for 10 Week EMA . . . . an upside thrust off the 10 Week EMA with Money Flow on the Weekly trending more bullish could be very interesting . . . . if that were to occur . . . . my entry is very nice . . . . sold all profits in late October and kept remainder . . . added slightly since vicinity 10 Week EMA . . . . stock is 2nd ranked in Industry Group for Accumulation/Distribution Rating and the group shows Relative Strength of A+ . . . . I’m sticking around . . . .
OPTX . . . . this one is wild . . . . yes I can see the huge swings within each week . . . . as of Right Here and Right Now . . . stock is respecting the 10 Week EMA and overall bullish structure . . . . had a very strong move on massive Volume exploding off the 10 Week EMA . . . . when I see that my most likely course of action is to hold and wait . . . . see what it can do . . . . let the market digest it . . . Industry Group has Relative Strength A+ . . . . they got accelerated and rush orders for Space Optics . . . . Department of War also asking for more output on specialized optics . . . . Up/Down Volume still in double digits which is insane . . . . yes I realize it’s tiny and that can’t be sustained forever . . . .
OPTX . . . . reality . . . they need liquidity . . . not sounding alarms just shooting straight . . . . also way too much of Current Assets sits in inventory and receivables . . . all of this can be fixed . . . won’t be shocked to see an offering relatively soon . . . . BUT do they have a genie in a bottle . . . . meaning how easy is it to be in a position to provide specialized optics for Space and Defense/Security at this precise moment in history . . . . can’t just snap your fingers and magically create highly desirable demand for your products and services . . . market seems to like this potential more and more . . . . this one could get wild . . . .
75% of stocks follow the overall market trend . . . .
