Thoughts and observations:
Tiny company and yes I realize there is no way that Up/Down Volume stays at this elevated level forever or a long period of time . . . . .
Summer of 2025 the market told me to dig deeper into Telecom Fibre-Optics Industry Group . . . . . the group absolutely sizzled up the rankings in a handful of weeks and has maintained excellent strength essentially the entire time since . . . . group gave us VIAV and OPTX so far . . . . .
Up/Down Volume above 1.0 is technically bullish . . . . I like to see it elevated way above that and above 2.0 for at least some period of time before considering a big position that I would intend to hold for a while . . . . . in other words I want the market to prove to me at least for some legit period of time . . . . . that the market is fighting to buy into the equity . . . . . . Up/Down Volume captures this . . . . . OPTX yes just a little one now but nonetheless the market is definitely paying a lot more attention . . . . .
Also just got an order for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality optics for Department of War after successful integration and testing . . . . .
If Space becomes a thing . . . . . .
Optics for AI data centers, optics for Space, optics for ProSec . . . . . . public just a few years ago . . . . market likes new things that have potential for explosive growth . . . . .
Do we have a moonshot here . . . . . would say it is possible but very, very far from any type of certainty on that . . . . . the setup is there . . . . .
My posture . . . . . hold what I have with quite appealing cost basis . . . . . willing to add for sure throughout this year with downside volatility all else equal . . . . . 75% of stocks follow the overall market trend . . . . .
